Hey all!! Haha I bet you all thought I died huh? I'm sorry I haven't been around much in the last...year. I really wanted to keep this site going, but things, like life, Harry Potter, RENT, and Broadway got in the way. They always seem to do that don't they? High school got me just a little too busy to keep coming on here to update. But don't worry! I still love this movie! I still obsess over the newest Christian Bale movies and am still waiting for Scaring the Fish to come out. And I occationally slip back into my New Yawk accent unexpectedly :)
What brought me back here was an article I read in Entertainment Weekly. Everytime I see that there's a Christian Bale article in a magazine, a part of me still hopes that they will mention Newsies. And today when EW came in the mail I saw a page was dedicated to Christian. And guess what was in the bottom corner? A picture of JACK KELLY!!! It was amazing. There was a little sidebar dedicated to our favorite movie, but unfortunately it was about what a flop Newsies was. But at least we got some recognition! I suggest you all go out an buy a copy lol.
Anyway it was nice to come back here and see that people still occationally visit the site and are keeping up the fandom. Don't expect me to update all the time now tho! But I will make an effort to come around here every once and awhile...But for now, I'm still Carryin' da Banner!!

One New Newsie Movie...American Psyco. I've gotton a lot of those up haven't I? Theres still a bunch more to come that I've boughten. So If I'm not around for a few days...my friends mom died and then I'm leaving for New York on Thursday for a wedding. I'll be back on Sunday or Monday I think. Guess what tho, I'm going to see RENT again this summer in New York! Not this weekend but I think in July. Hopefully Matt Caplin will still be there...

Guess what! Newsies was just on direct-tv!!! It was so great. I was flipping through the guide and al of a sudden there was Newsies! So obviously I watched it. and to tell you the truth, thats the first time I've watched Newsies in like a month! isn't that sad? It made me realize how much i missed it tho. So if you ever feel like Newsies is wearing out on you, don't watch it for like a month then randomly turn it on. Everything comes rushing back and you remember the magic of Newsies! wow what a great day! lol. Ok so I think I'm going to finally get started on the Race Shrine today! yippee!

OMG!!! I am sooo sorry that I haven't been updating!!! i feel horrible! I've just been in credibly busy. we got 2nd place in a soccer turni, graduating this year has been extremely stressful with getting things ready for high-school, cramming in stupid stuff the teachers think we need to know, and of course trying to spend time with my best friends that I won't be seeing next year. so sorry if updates come a little slow at times...but I've got to head off right now. One new movie on the "Newsie Movies" page. And there's another one on the way...just as soon as I watch it. i also ordered like four other movies from amazon which should be coming soon lol. Remember awhile back when I said that I had to make a mask in Art class? And i was going to do a cowboy (but make it Jack Kelly) if my teacher would let me. Well she let me make a cowboy and I was very proud of it. UNTIL SHE RUINED IT! she broke off the ends of his bandana then kept them so she could glue them on...but lost one! so now it looks retarded. and then i walked into the room and looked at my mask- and she put a string around his hat and put a feather in it! A FEATHER! do you know who else wears a feather! that's right! Oscar Delancy!!! It was a complete disgrace. i was soooo mad at her! grrr next art class i'm ripping that feather out!

YES! RENT came out on DVD today! haha i went out and bought it the second i got home. it has deleted scenes that are AMAZING! if you have the soundtrack, there are scenes for the songs "Holloween" and the ending of "Goodbye Love". and there's an alternitive ending that i personally like better. no updates today! Hey all!! Haha I bet you all thought I died huh? I'm sorry I haven't been around much in the last...year. I really wanted to keep this site going, but things, like life, Harry Potter, RENT, and Broadway got in the way. They always seem to do that don't they? High school got me just a little too busy to keep coming on here to update. But don't worry! I still love this movie! I still obsess over the newest Christian Bale movies and am still waiting for Scaring the Fish to come out. And I occationally slip back into my New Yawk accent unexpectedly :)
What brought me back here was an article I read in Entertainment Weekly. Everytime I see that there's a Christian Bale article in a magazine, a part of me still hopes that they will mention Newsies. And today when EW came in the mail I saw a page was dedicated to Christian. And guess what was in the bottom corner? A picture of JACK KELLY!!! It was amazing. There was a little sidebar dedicated to our favorite movie, but unfortunately it was about what a flop Newsies was. But at least we got some recognition! I suggest you all go out an buy a copy lol.
Anyway it was nice to come back here and see that people still occationally visit the site and are keeping up the fandom. Don't expect me to update all the time now tho! But I will make an effort to come around here every once and awhile...But for now, I'm still Carryin' da Banner!!

Guess what! Newsies was just on direct-tv!!! It was so great. I was flipping through the guide and al of a sudden there was Newsies! So obviously I watched it. and to tell you the truth, thats the first time I've watched Newsies in like a month! isn't that sad? It made me realize how much i missed it tho. So if you ever feel like Newsies is wearing out on you, don't watch it for like a month then randomly turn it on. Everything comes rushing back and you remember the magic of Newsies! wow what a great day! lol. Ok so I think I'm going to finally get started on the Race Shrine today! yippee!

Remember awhile back when I said that I had to make a mask in Art class? And i was going to do a cowboy (but make it Jack Kelly) if my teacher would let me. Well she let me make a cowboy and I was very proud of it. UNTIL SHE RUINED IT! she broke off the ends of his bandana then kept them so she could glue them on...but lost one! so now it looks retarded. and then i walked into the room and looked at my mask- and she put a string around his hat and put a feather in it! A FEATHER! do you know who else wears a feather! that's right! Oscar Delancy!!! It was a complete disgrace. i was soooo mad at her! grrr next art class i'm ripping that feather out!

RENT came out on DVD today! haha i went out and bought it the second i got home. it has deleted scenes that are AMAZING! if you have the soundtrack, there are scenes for the songs "Holloween" and the ending of "Goodbye Love". and there's an alternitive ending that i personally like better. no updates today! ahh i'm sooo mad! i had the date wrong for Christian Bale's movie!!!! it doesn't come out till the 20th! i'm sooo mad! i was gonna go see it today but noooo. i had the stupid date wrong so now i havta wait five more days! o well at least Doogie Howser M.D. season 3 (haha that rhymed!) comes out in like two days. yippee! i might update later but for now i just changed the date on the "dates to remember" page. CTB!

I haven't added anything yet today but i might later. i took my high school exam test today so hopefully i'll get in!!! wish me luck! anyway. i just wanted to say that Christian Bale's new movie "The New World" came out in theaters yesterday but i couldn't get on the computer to tell you that. but ya...so everyone go see it! i know i will sometime soon! A few days ago i did a finger painting of Skittery for Caps and i put it up on the Newsies Obsession Page. It would be really great if i could put some more stuff up there so please if you have ANYTHING related to Newsies send it to me at racetracksgoil14@yahoo.com thanks! i also put up some stuff on the "About Me" page and put up Squeeks' reason why she hates Sarah on that page. and i updated the banner across the top. I put up some articles that i found in some old magazines on the "Articles/Interviews" page. There's like 2 on Christian Bale/Batman Begins and one crazy cartoon thing i found that has Trey Parker in it. I also added this crazy dream i had to "Sparks' Random Thoughts". go read it. its pretty great. lol. have a good day!

I added the "Addresses" page so you can all write to your fav Newsies. I heard that Gabriel Damon usually writes back! wow that would be awesome. i think i'm actually going to write my favorite Newsies some day... if i find the time to plan out the perfect letter thats not like five pages of me saying my favorite parts of the movie! lol. i also added a few more "thoughts" to my random thoughts page. CTB!

I added a new page "birthdays." It has all the Newsies Birthday's on it. So for right now the questbook is in a random place in the middle of the pages cuz the reorder button is like broken, but PLEASE! don't forget to sign it!!! thanks a bunch!

Ok I have FINALLY created a Newsies fan site! yay! i've been wanting to do this for sooo long but I never really found the time. it's not completely done yet. i still have a lot more i'd like to put up. But hopefully i'll be updating as often as i can. ya...so go check out the site and tell me what ya think! CTB!
